Welcome to the South Dakota Knights of Columbus Ladies website. My name is Nancy Schweitzer and I am the State Deputy's wife. My husband Terry and are excited to have the opportunity to get to know you and your husband. I know you will enjoy your time with us and the people you meet will become close life time friends. We as Knights of Columbus wives do play an important part in this organization, because without our help and support they would not be able to accomplish the many programs, projects and goals of the Order. By helping and supporting our husbands we too can take pride in their endeavors for the good of the Church, community, and their Spiritualism.

I am pleased that the South Dakota Knights of Columbus are providing this forum for us to keep informed. It will have upcoming dates, locations, activities and advice on attire and anything else that are pertinent. Visit it often as I will try to update it periodically. Just a reminder to check out the KC  bowling tournament information.  Click on the tab labeled State Bowling Tournament in the right hand column of the State KC website.  This tournament is open to KC members, prospective members, a member of a KC sponsored team and spouses of KC members.  This is a great opportunity to get rid of the winter blues by having some fun and socializing with fellow KC’s and their wives. Hope to see you there.

This year’s KC shirts are now on sale.  Our chosen color this year is purple (eggplant). Use the tab below the bowling tournament to get your order form.  These are high quality shirts that are available in women sizes.  Shirt orders and payment must be in by March 15th.  They can be picked up at the State Convention in Spearfish at the Country Store/Silent Auction room.

Also if you and your husband are planning to attend the State Convention make sure your husband orders both his and your meal tickets in advance.  Children are welcome to come with you to the convention so if you plan on bring your children please let them know their ages so we can plan meals, entertainment and daycare for them.
